We have a lot of clever and talented people within the Manawatu Home Educators community, and others within the Manawatu region.

So why don’t we make special use of these people?

I propose the following idea then… that we begin grouping people and skills, and then asking these people to develop and present short talks and discussions with the younger people in the MHE community.  Perhaps on a Friday night once every month.

I keep hearing with my big ears that we under-estimate the abilities of our kids, and I’m pretty certain that these rumors are mostly correct.  So why not broaden the experience of the kids, get the adults (especially fathers) together once per month, clea the spaghetti from between our ears, and enter into some stimulating dialogue?!
